She has provided therapeutic services to individuals, families and couples across various settings. Her experience includes working at Nova Southeastern University’s Brief Therapy Institute, a residential substance abuse treatment center in West Palm Beach, a mental health agency, and private practices in the Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas. Some of her work focuses on issues concerning behavioral problems in children and teens, substance abuse, self-esteem, body image concerns and relationships.
Kedene utilizes systemic and strength-based approaches to challenge her clients in shifting narratives - helping to enhance clarity, insight and self-worth.
Aside from her therapeutic work, Kedene enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants! She loves any opportunity where she can learn and immerse herself in different cultures. She especially loves going home (Jamaica!) where she gets to spend time with some of her best friends, and visit the beautiful beaches on the island!
