Dr. Aurélia Bickler is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an AAMFT and State Approved Supervisor. Aurélia finds great passion in helping individuals, couples and families by providing therapeutic services during times of need.
Aurélia has taught as an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University and is currently a full-time professor with Northcentral University. She also supervises several registered Marriage and Family Therapy Interns through their journey toward state licensure- many of which are here, at Changing Forward, LLC.
Being born and raised in Paris, France, Aurélia is fluent in French, English and conversational in Spanish. She received her Masters and PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Additionally, Dr. Bickler is certified in hypnotherapy.
Further, Dr. Bickler worked as the Executive Director of S.U.P.E.R.B. (Students United with Parents and Educators to Resolve Bullying) until 2015. Having expertise in bullying prevention, detection, assessment and resolution, Aurélia is a great resource for Broward County’s youth.
Dr. Bickler founded Changing Forward, LLC in 2011 to provide individuals, couples and families a safe place to transition toward their individualized “Forward.”
